Hey fags

So, I know you guys have fucked up diets and nutrition, so I was wondering: If you had to estimate, how many calories do you take in a day?

I just ate like 600 something calories, and I'm about to eat another 440. I probably take in 3000 calories a day, and it surprises me that I'm not obese-though I am a fatty, and will probably be obese eventually.

Also, talk about being Neets/hikkis/shut-ins/cocksuckers etc.

Everybody knows that /jp/ loves blogging. That's why people hate it so much, if they didn't we'd all drown in blog hell.

I'm probably going to start keeping a food diary.

Prolly about 900 per day on average.

How do I know how many calories I've eaten? I cook food, so there's no label to tell me.

Blog thread? Sweet.

Dear diary,
A young customer tried to make idle conversation with me at work.He was saying something about the ``football,'' but I did not know much about it. I gave the normal ``yeah'' and ``ok'' response as I quickly sliced the sausage he ordered so that I could give him his stuff, he could pay me and forever fuck off. I was really nervous and sweaty during that experience, work sure is stressful! As soon as I got home, I NEETed the day away reading C81 Touhou doujinshi. Now I am here, but I plan to vigorously masturbate and go to sleep soon. Maybe tomorrow will be better at work...

>> No.8536909

I actually eat a very healthy diet, and I maintain a stable weight of around 140lbs.

As for how many calories I eat per day, I don't have a clue, I never have counted calories and I probably never will; I see it as a gigantic waste of time unless you're one of those OCD body-builder types. I'm guessing somewhere in the region of 1500 - 2000.

Being a shut-in is no excuse for not taking care of your body. Even if you don't exercise, you should at least eat well.

>> No.8536916

When I didn't have to pay for my own food, I usually ate around 2500 calories daily. Nowadays its anywhere from 500~1500. I only eat twice a day at most.

Food is just too expensive.

But that doesn't mean I eat nothing but ramen. I can cook pretty well, so I tend to prepare something really nice.

Counting calories got me 20 pounds lighter in the last six months. It's better than nothing.

>> No.8536990

>>8536958

I don't really see any need to count calories though. Your body will tell you when you are and aren't hungry, and how much food is enough to satiate you. To lose weight, all you have to do is eat less than usual, and if your body is telling you that you're hungry (not starving) then you're probably doing it right.

I mean, if counting calories works for you and you don't find it a huge pain in the ass, then keep doing it, but I don't think it's anywhere near as necessary as people (especially on /fit/) make it out to be.

>> No.8536989

My problem is I don't eat ENOUGH. I eat like 1000 calories a day, if not less. I can't motivate myself to cook anything, so I always end up calling in chinese or pizza. And I can't afford to do that more than once a day so I just drink a lot of water

>> No.8537001

I don't know but I burn less than 1000 a day.

1000 max, about 100 minimum. Some days I starve pretty hard.

Couscous, beans, bread, eggs, seasonings, tinned soup. It's all you need, and way cheaper. Probably add some meat in there too so you don't end up anemic or some shit

1500. I count. I was on a diet but I lost 20 pounds and then I stopped losing weight. I need to pick up more rigorous exercise.

No idea. Had a bagel for breakfast and just made a pizza. Probably will have soup for dinner.

I usually have egg salad sandwiches for lunch/protein, but I eat a stupid amount of pizza.

I usually bake my own bread, bagels, pretzels, pizza dough etc. It is really easy, much cheaper and tastes better.

You don't need meat so long as you're getting all of the essential amino acids. And since eggs do contain the complete set of amino acids, you don't need meat. In addition, with careful selection (or at least a wide variety) you can get those amino acids completely from plants.

I fainted last week.

Just what (or how much) do you have to eat to consume 3000 calories a day? My stomach would probably explode if I attempted that. And I like to eat and, unlike most of /jp/, eat a lot.

I'm 6'1 and 125 lbs. For half the week, which would be stressing and working towards my Nuke degree, I'll eat almost nothing, maybe a handfull of chips and a cereal bar, cigarretes and coffee included. For the rest of the week, around 4000 calories.

~1000 calories a day.

3 slices of brown bread topped with honey and peanut butter. That's about 1200 cal maybe. Also had a bowl of noodles and a few meatballs thrown in. That's about 1000 calories maybe.

I count calories everyday and I eat 1200 a day. Yet I am obese as fuck. Feels bad man. I must have some fucking medical problem I'm guessing. Oh and I am one of those people who just pace around their house. So that adds up to like 3 hours of pacing a day. So I think I'm getting enough exercise even though I don't leave the house.

No. A gym would be your best bet, assuming you can go out in public without too great of discomfort, and also assuming you can pay a monthly fee.
