Actually creating original music is fucking difficult to do, mostly because tunes that you make up usually come from something that you have heard before and enjoyed so much that it has stuck to your subconscious. The other reason is that no matter how hard you try there is always the possibility that something you made still can end up sounding like something else since there is such a wide range of music out there that someone out there has probably already though of a particular tune that sounds good at least once. The only real exceptions to this are the people that flat out copy something almost note for note, like Yoko Kanno.

I was vacationing in Paris last summer and I heard a street performer playing a tune on a organ grinder of sorts. I swear it sounded just like second segment of Third Eye. The sheet the instrument was playing from said the title was 'reve boheme' or something (I think). I haven't been able to find anything by that title sounding remotely the same, but still...

I thought Flan was sort of the vampire version of a thalidomide baby, a result of being turned by her older sister even though most versions of the vampire story agree that child vampires couldn't/shouldn't make other vampires.
Her bat wings only grew one finger, as a result there was nothing for the skin of the wing to be spread across, so she was left with those gnarly things that look like tree branches stuck to her back.
And her food is brought to her because her fangs are undersized, so she has trouble feeding without killing her subject.
