Close, but not quite what I'm getting at.
what I meant by that is when someone smacks me upside the head, they follow it up by all sorts of combos. when I manage to hit someone, there usually isn't much I can think of. Not that Yuyuko is that much of a combo character, but still.

That's assuming I can hit the guy. What leaves me dumbfounded is when I'm on the defence, I cannot think of anything to get out of those corner strings. As soon as you hit me and I block, it'll continue until I'm cornered, unless there's a clear gap in there somewhere.

What's depressing is I just can't seem to punish anyone for anything. Some guy'll attack me with 66A/b/c or whatever, I'll block, and no matter who or what, their next attack comes out faster than mine.

I refuse to believe there's nothing to do, obviously I'm just missing the obvious. But I can only learn through trial and error, and so far, it's ben a whoooole lot of error, and very little learning.

The only game I can be considered a tourneyfag in is SC (in before lol SC). If you mean how did I learn things like zoning and mixups, it was during the time I was playing SF 3rd Strike and GG. MvC2 ruined my perceptions of blocking and cutting off a chain of attack when you shouldn't be pouring on the pain.

I'm not really one to be giving advice, but learn a few guard crush combos and use her instant crush attacks when you have the opponent in the corner. The combo you're using now drains all of your orbs so if someone counters with a bullet attack, you'll get crushed instead.

I think I use it well. It has excellent application. You can pressure someone into the corner for massive chip from 236 + Poison, or they'll fly around for free hits up there. It really is an excellent card in my eyes.

Reisen poison does way too little damage, when someone puts poison on the field i just play as if nothing was there, yuyukos 2card poison does like 3 times more damage, follows you everywhere, its comboable into and out of it, now thats a real poison.

During Spring Haze I fell it for a few times, but during the normal course of a match, it didn't happen. I still think 236 has more application as chip damage. In fact, Reisen seems good only for chipping away at your life instead of dropping a 4k combo on you.

That's because she can't DO 4k damage. If you level up the rockets, they will start causing forced knockdown at 2 hits. Her level 5 might do that if you hit out of a combo during a typhoon or something.

I've been trying to make Patchy worthwhile but I keep running into two seemingly insurmountable hurdles:
1. She has no dashing graze attack, meaning once she's blanketed, she's not coming out safely.
2. She has no physical skillcard, so once you get past AA you either go into bullets and get hit with a dashing graze or you throw the final A which is so slow end up at best neutral on frames and have done no spirit damage.
