/jp/ I need help. I remember seeing those threads about faggots posting CP on /a/ or whatever and I never thought that I'd be on when it happened, and well, it just did. How do I save my ass and delete all of my picture history?

Clear webbrowser first, you probably know how to do this.

Afterwards open a terminal and type

sudo sh -c "sync; echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches"

You're welcome.

Honestly no one cares...

No one will ever come after you because you saw something someone else posted.

They will be the ones who get in trouble for distribution.

I can't believe you're really worried about that. Nothing will happen to you, stop being so paranoid.

That's not the problem. The problem is that if anything ever happens to your computer and you have to send it to tech support/whatever it is and they find CP, they're legally forced to call the cops.

If your computer ever gets seized for whatever reason (piracy, or even something you didn't do) and they see one pic of CP you're in deep shit. Have you ever seen those cases of people who get arrested for having lolicon and in the articles they always mention how they found 1 or 2 actual CP pics on their computer? And because of that they get raped in prison?

Being paranoid is a good thing, even if the odds of anything happening are incredibly, incredibly low.

Sometimes you have to send your computer even if you know how to fix it, unless you just feel like paying for everything even if it's still under warranty.

You won't get in trouble for a couple of pics in your cache

When you actually have them saved and their in the double digits that's when you start to have a problem

2-3 won't get you in trouble

Also I've read the same stories as you have and usually they mention a number anywhere between 40-80 pictures in the ones i've read

How bad was the CP?
Are we talking jail bait / legal in some countries not in others.
Or are we talking toddlers?

tHIS. iT'S HARD TO MAKE A CASE THAT SOMEONE DELIBERATELY DOWNLOADED cp WITH JUST A FEW PICS ON THEIR MACHINE, AND IN THEIR CACHE AT THAT, AS OPPOSED TO SOMEONE SAVING AN ENTIRE COLLECTION IN mY pICTURES>cHILD pORNOGRAPHY.

It wasn't even cp, it was nude pictures.
They weren't even sexual,
one was a girl sitting on a bed (only nipples visible)
One was two girls back to back in a fashion type shot (only nipples visible)
One was a girl lying down in some sort of studio or something
and the last was a close up of a pussy.

Shit anime this season.

If someone were to take nude pictures of you, OP, would those be considered CP? Judging from your posts, I think so.

Kindly get the fuck out of /jp/.

Doesn't sound like much to worry about to me.

Also I've always wondered.
If authorities ever seized your PC for some reason.
Would it possible to bullshit them and say you bought it second hand a few weeks ago.

I've heard people getting let off the hook for stuff with fucked up excuses like that.

So I guess it's always worth a try.

>> No.8509996

>>8509974
The biggest factor is your willingness to bullshit them. They aren't just going to say "Oh okay. I guess we can't say much there. You're free to go. Have a cup of coffee in the break room on your way out." They're going to seriously hound the shit out of you about it and say things like "We already know you're guilty, you might as well confess. You're only digging yourself into a deeper hole." Or they'll give you some sweet "deal" that involves you going to prison for only five years and lifetime on the sex offender registry, which of course your shitty public defender will jew you into accepting because he doesn't feel like doing all that paperwork.

However, if you stick to your guns, keep your head about you and don't get sucked into any logic traps in your story, the detectives or prosecutors will know right away that they aren't willing to spend the time locking up some harmless shut in who is willing to fight the courts to hell to stay out of prison and whose weak case will take over a year or several years just to convict. That isn't factoring in all the appeals either.

Interesting yea, I figured it wouldn't be a simple thing.
But if it came down to that or prison I'd probably have a damn good go at it.

I was thinking they might be able to contact your ISP, pull up some records of you downloading something a few months ago which is in the history of the PC your claiming to have bought two weeks ago.
That would contradict your style and put you in shit.

Well all I've ever done is download shit and most of it obscure stuff like jazz and blues not major label stuff.
But still paranoia makes one think of these things.

Pirates never go to jail unless you're the head of some kind of ring such as what the founders of the piratebay are going through

It's a civil matter and you will be sued, it becomes criminal once you profit from it

Just use ccleaner.

If you're really fucking paranoid, download and use dban.

But I guess I speaking theoretically with the whole blagging your way out of stuff.

Disable your cache and then mount it on tmpfs because your fucking browser will ignore that and use it anyway, run in privacy mode with betterprivacy, cs lite, and refcontrol.

Bleachbit, smem, sfill, sswap / CCleaner optional.

>> No.8511940

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but I do everything there except for the optional.
