It has come to my attention that this tradition of "Groundhog's Day" has predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Please disregard this calculation as groundhogs are notoriously unscientific. For accurate spring predicting, fairies are by far the most reliable method.

The latest from Lilycast 2012 finds that the winter has been quite remarkably mild, with temperatures reaching spring-like levels at many times throughout the month of January. Bulbs and tree buds have been seen sprouting up early. This could be a concern if temperatures drop down to normal levels.

Invite them to tea parties and dine on scones while discussing the weather?
The people of /jp/ are an elegant and peaceful bunch.

Anyway, she is definitely right about the mild winter. What is up, Letty? Where's my snow?
