I reported this thread as spam because you keep spamming it and I'm trying to police the board even though everything I do is ineffectual and ultimately depends on the mods and nothing I do makes any difference but they laugh it up in IRC and don't show the slightest sign of appreciation that I'm even trying to make their jobs easier ;_;

I enjoyed the fact that I could use reverse image searches, anime-themed image databases and helpful translators to understand what's written on that dice, although I really didn't care about what it actually says.

i feel the same way, i've reported well over 1000 threads in my tenure on /jp/ and only about 10% of the time are those threads even deleted.

Report is not automatic delete button based on your own interests. Every thread/post I've ever reported has been deleted. You are doing something wrong. Perhaps you should consider hiding threads that you don't like, but belong into the board. Have you ever been banned for abusing the report function?
