I was fired at my last job after a month for asking if there were any other spots available (I didn't tell them it was because I didn't want to be around so many people). Fuck that place, they all hated me anyway.

So now I'm on another job hunt that will inevitably lead to more despair. Nothing is worse than the feeling you have of giving up over half your day to the man, especially when you first walk through the doors and know it'll be at least 8 hours of hell until you walk back out.

I'd kill to find a night security guard job that paid more than $9.00 an hour.

I'm looking for a job right now as well. I got fired and had to move back home which ticks me off because I'm always getting harassed to get a job, when I'm looking every day. Just because a place is hiring doesn't mean they're hiring me. My dad is 75, fifty years my senior. Visiting places every day and annoying the hell out of them for a job used to work. Now it'll get your ass kicked out of any establishment you try it at. I wish he would understand that.
