So I went ahead and attempted to order the griffon Cirno however when I went to go pre-order it the fig is listed as sold-out
How the fuck does a pre-order go sold out, however that is beside the point

I have only ever ordered from amiami and I usually pre-order very early so I don't usually have this problem

I wish-listed it(if that even does anything). What are the chances I'll be given the chance to pre-order off amiami if I just wait if that is even a possible situation

If not what is a good alternative to amiami that I can order/pre-order from

Pre-orders sell out all the time. Your wish list doesn't do anything in regards to pre-orders or items being restocked. Amiami most likely won't allow more pre-orders for this item. You will have to wait and hope it gets restocked after its release. If you want it that badly you could try your luck and pre-order it from someone off Ebay. This was the only other website I found that had it.

Amiami recently cancelled a pre-order of mine when it came out because they didn't have enough. You'd think a pre-order would be a guarantee that you get one, but no. :/

It shows the item that they buyer purchased as well. I looked through it, and they have sold a few Griffon figures before. Their feedback is pretty good, so it could be real. Ebay sides with the buyer 99% of the time, so you should be safe.

I'm actually worried about this myself. I pre-ordered the Kourindou Remilia which is scheduled to be released Late Jan-2012 stated by amiami. However it is effectively Feb and I haven't received the e-mail that requests my payment yet

You'll probably be fine, AmiAmi are closed on Sundays, and from most of my previous Griffon preorders when they say Late in the month it's usually the last day of the month before I hear anything.
