Why haven't you played Madou Monogatari, /jp/? Its obscure, Japanese and you get to be the little girl! What isn't there to love about that?

I would rather play Legend of the Ghost Lion. The most difficult RPG that is all about strategy and not grinding.

Well, the MD version is closer to the original MSX games, so there is that, but if you don't like first-person dungeon crawling and would rather play the story in a different way then you should play the SFC version.

How do you apply the patch and stuff? Is it complete? I'm pretty nub at this stuff.

>> No.8466988

>>8466973
There is an old IPS pacher that used to be used for this.

Current versions of Snes9x and ZSnes reads the patch file and applies it automatically when loading the rom if the ips and the rom file shares the same name though. So no need to patch as they do it automatically.

>> No.8467116

The snes game is the only game that's translated.
The megadrive game is first person dungeon crawling like Wizardry/Eye of the Beholder etc.
The Snes game is a top-view adventure rpg thing.

I befriended the carbuncle but I have no idea whatfor, he appears sometimes midbattle, and I have no idea what it does.
Gave some souvenirs mom, and I didn't notice anything different.

There is no pedestal to place the dark orb in the woods. I am fairly sure it said the dark orb should go into the woods, but i have no idea where.
The mandrake leaf is worthless without the dark leaf.

I am incredibly cute and stronger than ever with all but the revia spell, and rank 2 spells of some other spells.
Though I do wonder if the Diacute has any effect whatsoever on the Bayohihihi spell, even though Bayohihihi isn't an attack spell. That little orbiting Diacute crystal is depleted either way, though I sort of figure it doesn't do anything in that case. Likewise I figure Bayohihihi doesn't affect Diacute for the same reason.
