Guys I am really drunk and decided in the next week I am going to play and beat every touhou game (while drinking) sans pc-98 on normal I have only ever played/beat perfect cherry blossom and double spoiler (Didn't beat it, but got pretty far) Please give me a list of the most fun games in series, your opinion atleast and say why you like them, so I can start on a good note. I currently have every game downloaded (including the pc-98 ones) Except the latest one Ten Desires, although I played the demo when it was out.

I played far more swirr than I ever did lamp, but flying and border escaping are both terrible mechanics that should not be in a fighting game. Don't get me wrong though, I did have a lot of fun with swirr. It's just not a very good fighting game.

All right then. Last question, I just patched and installed English patches, for every touhou game since 6, took like an hour.

My question is, Should I use a game pad, or keyboard? I figure the game pad for the fighting games obviously, but what about the shooters?

Pad is garbage, make a stick or use keyboard.

Trust me, everybody I've known who uses pad is crap at touhou. Including myself. Only reason I still stick with pad is because my keyboard literally cannot read more than two inputs at a time, so yeah.
