This is pretty stupid and not intuitive for piano players at all, you'd think the top row of the Computer keyboard would trigger the black keys, but it's not like that at all, and the SHIFT thing they implemented instead is really annoying.

I agree somewhat

When you make video game music, it has to set a specific mood and also last as long as possible, therefore it has to loop. Thats where the repetitiveness comes from, for good video game music, you need a catch melody that efficiently loops.

The melodies in a lot of 2hu music is very catchy and memorable, so arranges and remixes of these songs to make the song wrap up and feel complete are usually popular and desired. So, yeah.

What's the advantage of this over Keybored? Keybored allows a much greater variety of instruments, and is offline.

> Keybored
> It's open source
I see it is licensed under GPL3, however, I cannot find the source code anywhere.

I'm experiencing multiple problems with keys. Sometimes they "stick" which results in continuous sound until I press them again, sometimes the program does not register a key, and if I hold them for too long the sound starts to vibrate.

On the positive side, there is a good collection of songs on its wiki, including a number of touhou tunes. Playing Phantom Ensemble on brass instruments was very exciting.
