My parents are kicking me out next Monday if I don't have a job.

What the hell do I do /jp/? It wasn't supposed to be like this.

>> No.8425878

Okay right, we have a few NEET/hikki threads and if you posted this in those it might be fine, but stop pretending /jp/ is some sort of advice column for NEETs just because you're one of us. Delete your thread and make a general NEET/hikki thread and post in it later, or better yet ask this in /adv/.

Ideally, crossdress.
Then come back home from your first job in disheveled clothes, with smeared makeup, cum leaking from your anus, and scream at your parents "Is this what you wanted? I hope you're happy now!"
Should give you a couple more years of NEETdom easily enough.

night shift at nearby gas station or hotel

Those companies are almost always looking for somebody to fill that always open graveyard shift spot.

They generally pay slightly better than the day shift, and your family won't have any place to criticize you for your sleep schedule where you never have any extra time to spend with them.

Also, you won't spend very much time at all dealing with people. It'll take a few weeks or so before the total amount of time spent with customers totals up to the time you spent during the interview.

Don't say you have a mental problem. Just say you've been having some problems and describe them. Put in some crap like "I don't know what to do, they won't go away no matter what I try."

Then the doctor should refer you to a psych, if he doesn't. Go to another doctor and pull the same stunt.

>> No.8426542

There is a legitimate reason to get a job, unless you're one of the few (yes, FEW) people on /jp/ that lives on social assistance.

Firstly, your quality of life is correlated to your income-- this is a fact. Otaku life is not cheap. Here's my monthly budget relevant to my /jp/ hobbies:

- $40 worth of LN/mags + $50 EMS
- $50-200 for a fig of an anime I enjoyed
- $100 for broadband (Canadian internet sucks balls)
- $40 usenet
- $40 worth of ammo for shooting at the range

This doesn't even cover non-periodical shit I buy, like convention goods (via friend in Japan), PC hardware, audio equipment, and PS3 games.

To pay for all this, I work 3 days a week for 12 hour shifts in armed security. It's boring. It's tedious. But it's necessary to pay the fucking bills.

If you're poor, I understand if you're hesitant to buying figs/overpriced BDs. Many anime fans in Japan don't buy merchs, since they can record it from their broadcasts. But without consumers who buy these overpriced merchandise, there is no more anime industry.

So please get your heads out of your fucking asses and get a job so you can support your hobby, and by extension contribute to the (anime) industry which relies solely on merch sales and NOT ratings.
