Gods CAN have sex in Japanese myth, yes. But they can also create things out of thin air. Suwako could have sex with some god or human. Or, she could just create a baby out of thin air.

Is the myth of Japanese origin? Is it of Touhou origin?
If it is the former, than it is somewhat relevant. If it is the latter, than it is very relevant. Anything else, irrelevant.

That said, if you believe Sanae, she says she is a god. So, either she is a god at the moment or just a human. Her profile also says, species: human. Not species: half-god or half-deity or what have you.
Now, as far as Touhou lore is concerned, there is no half god.

I know touhou gods can create things out of nothing. I know it is possible Suwako has sex with some human back then. I also know it is possible for Suwako to create a human descendent.

Use the oni, Suika, as an example. Oni should be killing, raping, and pillaging and we do not see Suika doing that. She may have done so back then, that is unknown, but we do not see her doing that now.
