You know, the stories about Nero are handed down from Christian "historians". Not exactly the most reliable source. He was certainly not a saint, but these stories are just greatly exaggerated.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean what you think it means. Bubble bursting: All it means is that she only exists in Romance of the Three Kingdoms and has no historical basis, unlike pretty much every other character in RotTK. In the story, she was a normal, real woman.
