The first time I played EoSD, it was an amazing experience. All those nice visuals, the incredible soundtrack (my favorite so far), the awesome boss battles.

And that was because I played the PC98 games first.

I played all the PC-98 games, and it was very enjoyable, although when I got to EoSC, everything suddenly became way better. If you really want to know the entire series, play the PC-98 games, OP. But if you just want Touhou's best, start with EoSC.
