My childhood friend who browses /fit/ hasn't spoken to me on AIM in over a month. I think it's because I never once gave him actual advice whenever he complained to me about wanting to be more normal by having a job or being able to speak to people. He's on another level. I can use a phone to place an order for pizza. I can ask people to not put something on my food if I don't like it. I can answer the door when something is delivered to me. Me and him live a similar lifestyle (both indoors and on a computer for most of the day), except he strives to be normal and in the end he tries too hard and ends up being too scared and nervous to do anything. On the other hand, I could care less about what or how I speak and I have no problem speaking to people if I decide to.
