hey /jp/
some of us set up a dc hub for 4chan use
if you'd like to share files or chat please feel free to join
we have ~14TB of combined shared content with a couple of users and obviously we will have more if you join
the only rules are no sharing of illegal CONTENT (cp rape snuff etc.) and no /b/ like behavior please
fun fact the sharing of copyrighted content is an ACT the CONTENT itself is not illegal

the hub address is adc://ghub.serveirc.com:411

tutorial images coming in next posts
windows client here http://www.apexdc.net/
linux and mac client here http://code.google.com/p/eiskaltdc/downloads/list (or check your repos)

there is no share/speed requirement but you must at least share what you download
any questions please post in the thread or ask in the hub

I remember this on /g/ a few months ago.
Terrible idea. DC hubs are dead. Why do you think Raspberry Heaven died and the 4chan tracker pretty much took its place?

This is stupid. Set up an FTP or something.

an FTP is centralized, this is not, the more users share stuff the more there is.

hey /g/ I have a question about php-

I've got a snippet that checks keyup for a, w, and d. It's written like this:

$("main").keyup(function(event){
if(event.which==65){
vote(number1);

}else if(event.which==68){
vote(number2);
}else if(event.which==87){
location.reload();

I know little to nothing about php other than what's common sense programming. I don't see anything wrong with this. However, when the keys are pressed, the functions aren't run. The vote function runs fine, it's the keypress that doesn't get registered.

fucking useless beetsroots, breaks code and doesn't fix it before he goes to jerk off.

So basically its just a P2P but 4chan centered, sounds kind of shit, since its an even more limited scope.

yeah no shit I didn't expect you to ask /jp/ to join ghub especially when they're too lazy like this fuck.

we have some anime but you'd be better off torrenting it.

no

No.
I understand ``retro'' technology when there's some sort of charm to it or it's better in some way (like Gopher) but there's no point in using a service that has been superseded by better technologies. Set up a BitTorrent tracker or something. It mightn't seem as fun because you can just use existing trackers, but you can just use existing DC hubs (what few there are left).
