/v/ here. If Altair became the Hashishin leader, does that mean you can summon him as a assassin? And since the order did not die out and Ezio became the leader as well, can you summon him? Also Desmond will probably become the leader. Can you summon him?

Confirmed for not understanding what happened in F/SN.

The dude summoned in F/SN was not a Heroic Spirit. He was a Wraith, a normal spirit, hanging around the place of his life/death, the mountain that would later be home to Ryuudouji.
He was put into Assassin class because he was an error. As someone faceless, and nameless, he fit the role of "being an unknown". But he's no Heroic Spirit and doesn't fit into ANY class. He is just a glitch. Caster got lucky that the person she picked up was a master swordsman, even if he wasn't famous.

He was never "Sasaki Kojirou". Ever. He has no name. He called himself Sasaki Kojirou because he developed the Tsubame Gaeshi technique, and in the modern era, that's what Sasaki Kojirou was famous for. But he isn't Sasaki, nor is anybody sure if Sasaki existed.

The rule regarding Hassan-i Sabbah has never been a truly "set in stone" absolute, merely something that is hard to get around.

To summon a hero as Assassin, they need to have stealthy qualities, probably including having killed someone without the target realizing. You also need a powerful catalyst with that hero, as an absolute, because the Assassin class IS a catalyst for Hassan. (The word "Assassin" traces itself back to the words Hassan and Hashish, and Hashish itself links with Hassan.) Beyond that, the hero needs to either be unfit for other classes (this is the hard part, as very few people are famous for EXCLUSIVELY assassinating), or the other roles need to have been already taken (i.e. Saber/Caster/Berserker etc.).

Herakles can be summoned as "any class besides Caster" [sic]. Even if we preclude Avenger, that still implies he can be Assassin. But summoning him naturally would get him as Archer. And probably by priority, just summoning Herakles would probably have Assassin lowest on his list of classes. Thus, Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, and Berserker need to be summoned, before the master with Herakles's catalyst tries to summon him, and he gets Assassin!Herakles.

It was a single act, plotted and performed with others. A Politician is not a hero by any measure. Even as a Praetor he was not particularly famed for his military prowess.
