Hello /jp/. I'm thinking about making a Yume Nikki-esque game, and I'm just wondering.. 優桜付き (Yuuoutsuki) means covered in petals or something to that extent, right? I just want to make sure everything means (around about) the right thing, since it would be so awkward being all KONNI CHI WAAAAA I CAN SPEAK NIPPONGOESE DEE SU ^_^ etc. Hahahah I'm not even sure if I'm using the right Kanji... I can never remember them, fucking memory.

I'm horrible at coming up with names, and actually like Yuuoutsuki, but won't use it if it's something dumb/doesn't work in Jap. I tried using Google Translate but that is a piece of shit and doesn't usually work for names.

What? I'm an artist and have plenty of experience with RPG Maker. I don't see how checking if a name is correct has much to do with your other abilities, especially if you're creative in other fields.

An artist can make in game sprites, character/world/enemy/etc designs. You wouldn't have Touhou if ZUN couldn't draw. I have experience with RGSS and have friends who are composers/can make music in the style I wish to use for this game, so it's entirely possible. Have I caused you to become upset in some way? Also, ZUN's style changes every year and isn't very consistent, so using him as an example is pretty dumb.

Here is some concept art from the game .flow, easily one of the best YN fangames out there. The dude looks nothing like this in game.
