Man, you improved a lot since the last time we fought. I think I managed to scare you into never, ever airteching, because I will CHASECHASECHASE you down for free damage.

One thing I can't stand about Remilia is that she cannot do ANYTHING to someone blocking in the corner without Vampire Claw. Without it, make one mistake and Suika goes "lol 2.5k damage".

Also, if I wasn't sure about it before, I'm pretty sure Fantasy Seal sucks. Waste of five cards, but I guess sometimes I can get a free melee combo off of it. Opinions, etc., because I'm considering taking it out of my deck and putting Wind God Kick back in.

Tenshi is awesome even without B spam. Her lasers go through most things, and 2C has got to be one of the most annoying moves ever. 3A has godly priority, and 66C is just retarded. Safe on block, grazes, makes your opponent whiff point-blank, and since your hitbox is actually FAR behind the actual attack box, it's difficult to be hit in the first place. Don't forget LOL FULLSCREEN STOMP and LOL SUPERARMOR. Tenshi is awesome period.

I'd host some matches, but got reading to catch up on.

As for that tier list, take it with a grain of salt. It was composed of /jp/'s mains and preference on SCs, attacks, and dislikes. Not so much as tiers, seeing as we all haven't seen the full potential of each, but /jp/'s take on characters. We all hate Aya, yet can't deny the bitch is a pain to defeat in the hands of another player. We love the the moonbunny and slacker, but it's common knowledge they both don't have much going for them. There are overlooked characters like Iku and Yukari, and the overrated like Yuyuko (2B 2C is a pain, but easily avoidable) and Youmu (Spring Haze, 'nuff said). IMHO, I'd say Yukari was overrated and Yuyuko is underrated, but whatever.

Again, it's only been a month. That thing is too incomplete to be called a tier list. Too soon, too early, too new, too fresh. It's more like a large hunk of popularity poll.

Huh? Because she has a decent range dashing attack? That's no different than LOTS of characters, such as Sakuya's 66C or Yuyuko's spinny fan.

How 'bout we rephrase this as "Has shitty alt. skill cards"? None of the characters need skill cards to be a threat if you play them well, and she has no options to be even better, so how you can turn this into an ADVANTAGE is beyond me.

She only has one exceptionally good spell card, her grab rock throw that grazes and has instant start-up and does 5k damage. But that's the only one that's really unfair. Her unblockable one is damn near impossible to land, her uber-loli is extremely situational and character-dependent, with it actually being a disadvantage against some characters. Her fireball that splits into other fireballs is decent pressure but fairly easily avoided by just flying up. Her rock throw is essentially worthless except as a reversal for extremely laggy moves, and even then it's shitty because it's one of the few spell cards that don't make you invulnerable or even super armor.

tl;dr, She has one extremely good spell card, and the rest are above-average at best, unless I'm forgetting one of her spell cards.

This. Suika is "LOLPUNISH", when few of her moves can be punished back if played correctly. Stack that on top of HUEG damage, an airtechtrap that first-timers will DEFINITELY fall for repeatedly, and the most goddamn annoying reversal SC in the game, and Suika is a powerhouse.

Her air BnB is j.5A -> j.6A -> j.6B. After you do that, you fly slightly up, to the exact place where the enemy would place themselves after an airtech, and elbow just before they get there. You can't block at the very moment you come out of an airtech, so with your elbow already there, they get hit. You then repeat your air BnB. And then you do it again. And if it's raining, you do it yet AGAIN, until they get it through their head NOT to tech anymore.

Not that I know of. Youmu doesn't stay floating in the air after her air combo. Some characters have the ability to repeat their air combo, but Suika does the most damage of all, as well as being the easiest to pull off.

She can do this out of any airtech if the player is thinking far ahead enough. I can do the exact same thing with Reimu as well, but it will do nowhere near the damage. Trust me, even experienced players will manage to tech into it without meaning to. Also, Youmu's BnB results in a limit breach, so they can't airtech to begin with, and her flight is difficult to control; you cannot do this in the corner due to her flight momentum pushing her far too high to catch them, so it's only available as an option from other techs elsewhere.

I don't even play Suika and I bet I could make someone cringe at getting caught by one of her many traps.

It only damages like that if you score a bounce hit. What I was doing was setting on wake up to TRY to guard break you (failed miserably), if not, at least waste one of your orbs (succeeded). It's best to learn how to tech away from them in order not to be in instant blockstun. Some of the higher level players could easily take advantage of it.

I played a couple of guys that memorize combos. You can tell if they are beginners or not because once you discover and counter their strategy, they tend to stick to it and end up losing. Me, I don't know any BnB...too lazy to train, I just go with the flow; randomness is the casuals best ally in my opinion.
