Literature test had such grammatical errors in it we had to ask the teacher what's written there on a number of occasions.

Public transportation is pretty awful in the US. There are a lot of places where a car is not a luxury, but a requirement. I recently saw a job posting from DHL for an ex-REME Class 1 VM (ad was posted in the UK) to work in Afganinstan and/or Iraq, and the salary was only $50,000USD/year (tax free). This was a position that required an experienced mechanic and travel to various bases throughout both countries to maintain vehicles for DHL. 12 weeks on, 3 weeks off.
