Apparently it got an anime adaptation so it became, you know, popular.

/jp/ hates on things that get popular, see Fate Stay Night and Sengoku Rance for examples.

>> No.8199658

Just let us know when to start posting "miyako a shit".

>> No.8199661

Wasn't this already translated?

>> No.8199662

I think I might play this because it seems silly.

The anime is fucking enraging though. WORDSWORDSWORDSWORDS.... I haven't seen that much character conversation without real plot advancement since Bakemonogatari. At least that had it's rather interesting vignettes.

Well, I say 'plot', but really I'm not expecting it.

Its a fun enough time waster. Its not a serious deep plot and its full of cliched humor but it should be entertaining enough to keep you going.

Everything Nasu writes is shit. It was shit before it became popular and it's shit now, inside and outside of /jp/

I'm gonna have to disagree, Mr. sage.

I have nothing better to do with my time, so I try to watch everything that comes out in a season, with varying degrees of success.

>> No.8199805

The whole VN is pretty much all words too. It has a much higher amount of dialogue than usual VN's (probably why it's pretty long and takes a while to finish), just like what the anime was trying to reproduce. I still found the VN pretty fun and entertaining, and the anime is not bad either.

>> No.8199848

>>8199805
Aw maaaaan....
Fortunately I can read faster than people speak, plus it's just faster to cut to the chase in VN format anyway.

>> No.8200399

>>8199662

Anime is really for fans of the VN who already know the characters and setting.

The VN itself I found to be a whole load of fun. The chemistry between the characters is great, the art and CGs are great, the music is pretty good and the Voice Acting roster is incredible.

I recall having heard that previously, yes. The almost utter lack of any sort of fleshing out the world gave me that idea as well.

>> No.8200505

Me, too.

Can you read ebooks faster than you can read real books? I feel like I'm the only one.

>> No.8200527

>>8200505
No idea. Seems like it sometimes, but I've never done any sort of comparison.

>> No.8200541

I read far quicker on my kindle for some reason.
