Hello, jay pee! It's me DJ Anonymous with a new show! This week, a request.

So. I'm the co-host of an online radio aimed mainly to people who like anime and japanese things. And this weekend we're going to have a marathon. So, obviously, we need a lot of music material. Besides L'arc~en~Ciel (we have the entire discography), where should I download stuff, and what do you suggest me to get?

>> No.8175517

Everything in this list:

I think your online radio would greatly benefit by playing the whole ten hours of Onmyouza's music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuKNpQkuuBo

Try Oingo Boingo - Little Girls

Eh, I'm feeling generous tonight. Tokyo Active NEETs have some of the best arrangements and renditions out there. http://vgmdb.net/org/659 - I reccomend Three Stars and Sanjuusou.
Could we have a link to the radio station?

The only reason I stopped listening to Onmyouza altogether is because my music got corrupted, and I've been a lazy ass to download the discography again.

And yes, JAM Project is so hot-blooded it deserves to be in the radio.

Also, saging because it seems like I must do it here.

>>8175605
So, Innocent Key, Oingo Boing... Tokyo Active NEETs? Lemme check that.

As for the radio, sure. We're on autodj right now, but what player do you use?

A few years ago, some local radiostation in my country decided to a 24 hour special about sex. Then they had to pay the massive fines they were charged with, but it was pretty darn awesome.

If I had my own radio station, I would play the whole Innocent Key album, no doubt.

VLC, just a little trolling in a crappy recommendation thread; it doesn't make a difference, really. Foobar.

What did they include in the special? Playing a 20-minute audio drama would be much different than a full day of lectures, grunts, and moans.

How do you figure you're in a position to discuss aspects of otaku culture on something like a podcast, where you're expected to know what you're talking about because you're podcasting about it, when you don't even know where to begin to find Japanese music?

I mean, come on bro. There's OPs in every anime every created that are quite memorable and catchy. Sometimes several.

How do you even know about /jp/?

We work like this:
- We take requests, live.
- We download them from youtube.
- We play them.

It's worked for us all this time, but now since we're running a 27 hour marathon we need way more music than before, and that means, we need to improve our reportory. That's why I'm lost right now.

I disagree with your methods, radioanon, but I recognize your spirit.
There's hundreds of kickass artists, really. I can't even begin to list them.
I can only say a certain online radio I listened to 4+ years ago made me feel nostalgic with:
Rurouni Kenshin's OPs and EDs, and even better than that, Animetal's two... er... 'kumikyoku', I don't know how to say it in english:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yexaCe2Yj38
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-piqfiZYft8

Also, think about old shit. Ranma 1/2, Shao Pai Long, Ai Oboeteimasu ka... I'm now remembering Patlabor's OP. Slayers. Taiho Shichauzo. There's lots of shit out there.

Thank you. We work like this because we don't work based on a script or anything similar. We just go along as things come, and people have liked that for over 4 months. So, we need a fast way to get music, and Youtube has made our life easier.

>Old shit
I gotta make a list of old series, although we'll have to double check if we have them.

Great idea. I'm gonna look for the discography, thanks!
