I'll never understand the hardon they seem to have for Family Project.
Was it just that amazing on release and just deteriorated over time?
Was the translation so shit it deteriorated the game?
Do the game themes resonate particularly with Japanese people?

The translation is definitely really shitty.
Family Project is a lot closer to Romeo's "real" style than his previous titles like Kana or Hoshizora Planet and the translation failed to reproduce the peculiarity of his text.
