Loner Japanese girl eating alone in McDonalds whilst browsing the Internet on her phone so as to avoid looking so alone.

>> No.8123740

I don't think that's a girl, bro.

Someone eating while checking phone.

I use that trick too.

It's a classic.

I don't own a phone, so I hold up my iPod and pretend it's one.

It works great for turning around too. Walking down a street and suddenly realize you're heading in the wrong direction? Whip out your phone, check it, make a sort of "duh!" face, then turn around and walk the other way. Nobody will ever know.

I was about to type pretty much the same thing. I am so glad that I am not alone!

I don't have an iPod though, because I'm not a homosexual. I use a cheap Sansa player instead.

>> No.8123768

I carry a netbook everywhere I go, along with earbuds.

Makes sure no one will bother me because I look busy. I'm actually just reporting threads.

That's not a girl either, it's uncle mugen's evil brother.

>> No.8123769

I eat alone in McDonalds all the time. On Thursdays I go to somewhere nice with friends though.

One time, some school girls gave me their number because they thought I was cute.

For me there's no significant difference between a phone and my iPod, so I guess I do this by default.

Usually I just spin 540 degrees on the ball of my foot and stroll off in the opposite direction like nothing ever happened.

NOTHEYDONTNOTHEYDONTNOTHEYDONT.

Although I did once see a guy just turn around in front of everyone. He didn't do anything. He was just walking in one direction, then turned around. It was the most alpha (sorry) thing ever. Both me and my friend noticed and we were quite impressed.
Maybe one day I'll be able to do that...

>> No.8123780

I can't access the internet in my local WcDs so I usually just eat with my head down and quickly leave. Sometimes I sit at a window seat and watch the people below make their way about the busy city.

Just now I tried to stand up and spin 540 degrees. I don't know if I could pull that off in public, with a 100% success rate. I just tend to freeze mid-step and do a 180 arch.

I was taken back by it too. Nothing came of it and I ignore her texts.

They worked for the Samaritans or a church or something, didn't they?

>> No.8123791

I act like a retard outside, because it doesn't matter.

>> No.8123795

It's a lot easier to spin on sidewalk pavement with slightly-worn shoes than it is on carpet in socks or bare feet, so it's not as risky as it sounds.

>> No.8123796

>>8123779
I do that all the time. I also wear a long coat, so it blows dramatically behind me as I turn my pace.

If I think I've dropped something or need to check behind me, also, I don't stop and look, I spin around whilst keeping my pace, check what I need to check, and spin right back around, 360 twirl.

I don't care who sees. I know how to work this coat of mine.

>> No.8123797

I started doing this recently. I play moe pachinko to pretend I'm actually doing something on my phone. McDonalds renovated thier places to look more urban with free wifi so you could probably stay there for quite a bit. No more eating outside like an animal for me; instead I get a nice 6-person table all to myself in the corner like a boss.

Of course you should make sure everyone knows too. To any passers by, say "OH MY FRIEND CARL MESSED UP THE DIRECTIONS AGAIN. HE'S SUCH A KLUTZ. IF YOU SEE ME TURN AROUND, THAT'S WHY. DID YOU HEAR THAT EVERYONE?"

>> No.8123810

>>8123795
I can pull of a really smooth spin yeah, but you'd need a good amount of momentum for that, and it introduces the possibility of losing your balance or smacking into someone if you come out at like 520 degrees or something similarly off from 540.

Eating out alone is the best. Don't know why you need to show to complete strangers that you're so busy and social.

>> No.8123923

I don't own any devices and when I go out to eat, I just eat and enjoy the experience. A few years ago I went on a vacation by myself and I ate out every single day alone. Loved it. I really don't understand why eating alone in public is a bad thing.

>> No.8123931

I like to just sit and quietly be.
