Just got around to watching episode 5. You can just see the moment his soul is crushed.

I wish he could die right here, in the pits of despair and Gai became the main character. This guys reminds me way to much of Shinn from Destiny.

I would have to agree that when hes up against Spinzaku he pretty much gets bumped down in to beta mode but Spinzaku would get betaed by Lelouch if he tried doing what Lelouch does. I disagree. True the MC does make me want to stab my self in the stomach, the show does have its perks.

Id just like to know why so many main characters have to be these indecisive omega bottom feeders? Why cant we have good MCs like the guy from Midori no Hibiki or Howls Moving Castle.

I just decided to mention Howls because in that story you have a little girl, cripped instantly with old age, yet shes still got the balls to go on an adventure.

Watch it for the diving suits, like me, or just download fan art. Other than that there is no real reason to watch it. The pacing is bad, the acting is meh. Unless you like an MC thats constantly in awkward mode, even when hes doing mundane things like opening a door, then this show is your dream come true.

I really disliked Shuu in ep 5. He was just so disgustingly bad that I was hoping that Ayase would slap some sense into him.

I enjoy GC for the female characters who are all decent. Inori has a lovely character design, Tsugumi is just fun, and Ayase (there are mecha everywhere and they can't heal this poor girl's legs?) is someone whom I'd like to befriend.
