/jp/ is a gateway board of the worst kind. It's a bad board, a clusterfuck of shitposting and touhou discussion that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive irony and REPORTING. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the board itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The popular tripfags all trying their hardest to look cool, the spammers, peculiar, portal to gensokyo threads, the whole NEET faggotry and everything about the Gensokyo world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party touhou games, emphasis on girls, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the NEET drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

/jp/ is basically THE board to attract the most hated fanbase known to 4chan, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this board and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no /jp/ers ever encourage the non-normal NEETS to show their faces here.

depends on the shit-dynamics of /jp/. I'm a bit rusty on the math so this is by no means close to rigorous, but a general naive equation could be expressed as something like this:

S(n) = S(n-1) * P(S(n-1))
P(x) = (a*x)^b + c
where S(n) measures shittyness at time n and P(x) measures the gain in shitposters relative to the shittiness at time n-1. Presumably, the gain would be greater for larger values of shittiness, thus leading to a runaway shit process.

it's making a lot of assumptions though about the system dynamics. the real work is in rigorously defining P(n): if P(n) > 1 as n -> infinity, then shittyness will increase over time, and /jp/ eventually reaches a shit singularity, or shitularity. but if lim(P(n)) = 1 as n -> infinity, then shittyness will eventually plateau.

I guess one variable that i glossed over was the shittiness of new shitposters, because not all shitposters contribute equal shit to /jp/, but that shouldn't affect the equations since P(n) measures percentage gain in shittiness, not individual shitposters.
