it's from a /jp/ anon who lived in paris. i don't remember the details, but he moved into a dilapidated building, probably because he couldn't afford rent. he put a padlock on the basement door and turned it into his home, leeching from the nearby buildings' electric supply. i would link you to the posts in the archive he made but i don't remember much about them so it'd take a while to find them. try running a search for that image until you find the originals. he also posted 3 or 4 more photos of his room, try looking for them too.
