After all the recent trapping threads I have decided to shave all of my body hair. What is /jp/'s preferred regimen to avoid getting your girly bits sliced up with razor burn?

OP here, just got done shaving. Took less than 2 hours and was as easy as the other anon said, except my razor was done by the end so be sure to get a 3-pack.

I never knew my skin could feel this smooth. Going to order some thighhighs now.

Ok, since this is about shaving, I feel compelled to ask.

I loathe hairs in my behind. You know where. I am far too ashamed to go to one of those clinics. How can I remove them *permanently*?

Just remove the hair with a razor. It's as simple as that. Honestly, I shave my whole body in the shower, without cream, with the same blade I've been using for over a month, and all of that in less than 1 hour. I cut myself maybe 3-4 times a year max.

Depends where. On my pubes, I'd say it took about a month for it to stop itching. Now, it actually starts itching when I don't shave it.

For my legs... it's different. They were never itchy. They burn a bit every time I leave the shower, but it stops fast, and it's not a big deal.

Shaved my chest and it was a nightmare. Nair was just as bad. Within a 24 hour period you'll be covered with red blotches and tiny zits, and it will itch like hell.

Waxing is much better but the stuff is expensive and it's a little time consuming (unless you go to a professional I'd imagine). The pain really isn't as bad as women make it out to be.

NEVER use hot water. Use as cold of water as you can stand. It's fairly easy to shave your face with ice cold water, but the rest of your body not so much. You can look it up, but the jist of it is is that hot water will soften the hair and the skin and trying to cut that won't give you a close shave and will irritate the skin. Cold water pulls the skin taut and hardens the hair, making it much easier to cut the hair rather than skin.

I really fucking suck at shaving armpits, the concavity makes it tough to fit a razor in there. Anyone have any tips?

Also, what do you guys do about arm hair? Mine is fairly light in both color and density, and I'm not really sure if I feel comfortable removing hair from such an obvious place.
