it's a bus, i imagine he maybe puts it out when he's camped out on the side of the road?

Is that a school bus?

I'm not sure what I'd do with that much living space. It'd be nice to have a bed, though.

It's tapered, durable, and waterproof. Perfect for inserting into one's anus.

If you park the bus to make it look like it broke down then no one will ask why you have it plugged into an RV water/power source.

>> No.8064266

Living in a bus...I think this guy is onto something. Paying for gas would be the only issue.

>> No.8064278

Decommissioned buses are actually very cheap. Like less than $1000. I'd live in one like this if I could find a place to with proper hook ups.

No RV parks in your area?

>> No.8064291

This actually seems like a good idea. Living costs might actually be bearable.

So do you need home and car insurance for it?

This is mildly depressing.
I bet its terrible in the summertime.

Run a line directly from breaker box.
Extension cord is fine too.

I remember this. Wonder how many times has this being reposted by other than the original owner.

those things are not well insolated

winter would be cold. also, what about plumbing? shower? toilet? sink? shower? power? shower? and what about shower?

>> No.8064586

I've considered tossing some of my stuff into the back of my van and living out of that for a while because my rent is expensive. However, the cramped space, the oncoming winter months and obvious lack of household amenities puts me off.

It's not so bad. You get used to it.

You should come to the southwest. It never gets cold here. It was 82F today with a low of 53F. Throw a computer in there and it'll stay warm.

I take it you lived in a car (or still do) at some point. What did you do for food? Eating out can be expensive.
>>8064600
Too bad it's on the other side of the country and I have some obligations I have to take care of here first.

>> No.8064618

I'd love to do that, but I'm such a loser that I never even bothered getting a driver's license.

HIPPY BUS COMMUNE WOOHOO

>> No.8064630

>>8064618
When I got my driver's license, my parents used it as an excuse to be lazy and make me pick up my sisters from school instead of doing it themselves, among other things. I still spend a ton of time driving to do stuff for them even now, because if I refuse being kicked out of the house becomes a strong possibility.

Be glad you don't have your license, I guess.

18, 14 and 12. My main problem is that I can't really relate to them because they like normalfag shit. The 14 year old one looked at me funny not too long ago when I asked who Katy Perry was.

>> No.8064653

Still in a van. I go to food banks for food. The hard part is gas and insurance. I do yardwork and whatnot for family for gas money.

>> No.8064665

Shit, that reminds me that I technically don't own my van. It's my van and I'm the only one who drives it, but I think my parents put it under their names to save some money on the insurance. I think I'd be fucked if I tried to make off with my van to live in it.

lol, you could, like, take it out to death valley (you know, to do the Californication), and wind up cooking your hotdog in it while you fry some eggs on the roof.

>> No.8065216

I think it looks kinda cozy. It's like you've cut yourself your own piece of the world that is just yours, rather than having to pay some ridiculous monthly sum to be allowed a roof over your head.

But realistically, I'm not very good with temperature extremes.

>> No.8065217

Maybe it's just because of perspective, but your externals look big.

>> No.8065224

>>8065217
We didn't always have those slim externals we have today. And when you live in a bus or whatever that is, you probably don't have the extra money to spend on upgrading your externals to more modern models.

Hotel parking lots and lots of stores open 24 hours are ideal. Parking on a roadside only works in urban areas, and only for a day, maybe two.
