What characteristic of your favorite touhou do you like the most?
I like her bows and the fabric she wears on her arm. I also like her red/green color contrast, but the bow and fabric the most.

Seems to have a very casual, yet loyal and morbid attitude. Probably my favorite part, because in canon it makes her sound very playful yet serious, and in fanon she ends up being either the intelligent straight man or the borderline yandere pervert, which are both very funny to read.

Her outfit and her hair (red hair with braids fuck yeah), and her having cat plus human ears for no good reason is nice too.

Hong Meiling

I like her kind of bullet design, rainbow patterns look very nice. I also enjoy the Chinese look on her, fits very well in the Touhou Universe. She also looks like a badass as well and probably the most trusting people to ever know out of everyone else.

Same. Didn't even realize it until I did that touhou sort test and she ended up thoroughly in first place, along with a few other surprises in my top 10.

As to why? I'm honestly not sure. There aren't really any design aspects of her that I like particularly more than most other characters. I think it just has to do with how underrated and bad her fanon portrayal often is.

I like the style, it just fits in the place. I am not usually a big fan of long dresses or braided hair. But i am sucker for a red hair. I also like that she is maniac personality when her job is so grim. It is delightfully morbid.
