Do immortals need to eat?
Will they even get hungry?
If their body is in a constant state of wholeness, is it possible for them to be lacking the energy or nutrients needed to sustain themselves?
Or do their bodies just freeze at the moment they become immortal, so that any illness or physical state will be permanent?
Imagine consuming the elixir while starving or with a headache.

>> No.8055663

Doesn't Mokou intentionally starve herself? It's why she's depicted as skinny.

>> No.8055672

Their bodies are always healthy. If anything bad happens to their bodies, it would be fixed by their immortality. Doesn't mean they can't feel pain, though. It might or might not be pleasant for them to go without food, but they wouldn't die from it.

As far as what constitutes healthy, that's kind of a subjective thing and not really worth putting too much thought into.

>> No.8055684

I think they get hungry, but of course it won't kill them. Kaguya is pampered as fuck so she wouldn't know, but Mokou goes without eating sometimes just out of laziness. Odd, since she considers herself a health nut but is so reckless with her own body.

Doesn't the Hourai Elixir grant "different" degrees of immortality depending of how much gulps you take?

What if they drown in lava?

Mokou and Kaguya are at the furthest end of the spectrum - immortal both physically and spiritually. They just come right back from nothing, even if it defies all logical possibilities.

Can they get pregnant? If so, would the baby be immortal?

If they can, will the baby grow or just stay as a baby forever?

I feel just the opposite. She's a health nut because she's so reckless with her body. Immortality aside, she's only human. I think she wants to be in the best condition possible to fight on par with youkai.

It would be a youkai baby.

Kaguya is further along than Mokou. Mokou can die, but immediately revives. Kaguya can't die period.

it would be stuck inside the mother and grow to adult size

if you were to cut out the baby another would grow in it's place

Maybe if you drank the elixir while pregnant, but I doubt you could even -get- pregnant while immortal.

Wouldn't the body reject the foreign host like a disease/parasite and regrow back to normal?

Jesus H Christ it's like a horror story

I imagine self-deprecation. Many health nuts do what they so because they want to live longer. Mokou drank some medicine and now she lives forever.

Drinking the Hourai Elixir cures all illnesses and other status ailments, so it's a non-issue.

They still get hungry, though.
