I beat it without using estus or magic with no real issues.

It depends on how early you face him and if you've got pyromancy, really. If you don't have either pyromancy or a decent shield his spinny attacks and constant backpedaling can get annoying.

Sif was fun, but easy. I beat him on the first try solo. I had more trouble with the mushroom men (died once), the NPCs in the forest guild (died 3 times) and those fucking giant cats (died 4-5 times).

Yes, you could. You could also get +5 ascended pyro flame and two-shot him with Greater Combustion, but that's not the point. Someone who does him for the first time without knowing the fight or reading up on it will not go underneath him.

I rolled under him because thats where my sword would hit him(enchanted claymore +1) best and he wasn't doing any stomp attacks.

I didn't know it was a hard fight until I was reading what to do next (as I forgot that the demon ruins existed and so on and so forth, fucking dragon butts)

Not really, sometimes he jumps over you and you end up underneath him and he starts slashing at air. He's just asking to be belly slashed/rubbed to death.

I still think the hardest fights in Dark Souls were powered Ornstein and Gwyn. Ornstein can be such a pain in the ass with his lightning stab grapples.

Lots, if you are summoned to fight it. Those people probably can't solo it, that's why. From what I see, they mostly die being tail whipped and stomped by the back legs trying to get the Dragon Greataxe.

I was so disappointed when I found out that Ornstein's armor gets outclassed real hard by Elite Knight +9/10 in every way imaginable. Not that I mind the Elite Knight looks, but Ornstein's armor is just too damn sexy.

Its pretty disappointing that theres only a few sets worth using for the stats. All of the cool looking sets are just outclassed or have too many stats in situational resistances.

At least its not the burger king set this time.

Anyone else in Kiln a lot for SL120 duels? If so, what builds have been working out for you? I'm currently running a STR, Vit+lightning and a sorcery spellsword build and spellsword performs better than the others by a mile for me. I'd like to try DEX too, but I can't decide on a weapon I'll be gunning for yet.

I know what you mean, I had to grind those darkwraiths for what felt like a week to get only a few slabs. Even with 99 humanity and the drop rate ring my luck is terrible.
