Did you know that dreaming you're back in High School again is a form of PTSD?

I have a hard time believing that.

Well that's depressing. I'd say 90% of my dreams are about high school.

I dream about high school and people from high school all the time. I was also bullied every year throughout high school. So you're probably right.

>> No.8025439

That would explain the cold sweats and the waking up screaming.

What if, in the dream, my high school is a multi leveled forest consisting of narrow paths you can jump between and impossibly tall trees shooting up from what appears to be nothing at all?

sure if you'd been bullied all through highschool.

Tonight I dreamt I was running around on an airfield and couldn't find my plane. Then my EWO disappeared all of a sudden and I was chased by a single very creepy zombie.

But I don't remember ever dreaming about being back in high school.

That would perhaps explain why I've never dreamed I was back in high school.

Sounds like a great setting for a fantasy slice of life.

That night, I dreamt of a blind swordsman.

He knows my every move, yet... he cannot see.

As my mind fights to make sense of the impossible, he has turned my sight into a liability.

He has no just cause to want my life. There is no forethought, no logic in his actions.

This isn't just any swordsman.

This is the Blind Nigga Samurai.

I've had dreams about being on 4chan and people I've talked to on the internet who live 1000 miles away

Not so much about highschool anymore these days

I've had dreams where I post an embarrassing thread on /jp/ and everyone laughs at me and, for some reason, knows who I am. I've never even made in thread on /jp/ for the 3 years I've been here.

>> No.8025485

I had a dream about ordering a chalupa at Taco Bell. After that when I woke up I got on AIM and had a message waiting for me. The message was done in typical greentext fashion, stating that I was going to bed at 7:45PM in 2011. I wasn't sleeping though; I was getting off AIM to avoid the person that sent that message. He's been on a very steep slope downwards over the past years and I think puts the nail in the coffin. He's always using memes in real life and is so loud and obnoxious now. I'm going to start severely limiting how much I talk to him until he changes his ways.

One time I accidentally made a thread instead of replying to a post. That was the first time I had ever made a thread despite having been here for years and I haven't made one since. A bit over a year later I had a dream where I was on /jp/ and accidentally made a thread and tried really hard to delete it before anyone could reply but I couldn't for some reason. Then I woke up feeling bad knowing that the thread was still there in my dream world. Feels bad man.

I dream about work almost every night I've been to work. There's yoghurt everywhere, but last night Cirno was there, and she helped me get the yoghurt, and together we defeated Lord Voldemort.
Don't ask my how my mind works, Cirno didn't know either when I asked her.

But I'm still in high school.
I usually have dreams that I finally open portal or something scary happens.

I might add that I absolutely hate my work and feel extreme fear when I think about it, go to it, or am at work. I hate how I can't even be rid of work when I'm safe in my comfy bed.
Fuck work. Fuck this system. Fuck yoghurt.

I quit my last job after not being able to take that anymore. Nothing is as soul crushing as coming home from an exhausting shift and falling asleep only to wake up and have 4 hours until work. All you can do at that time is just dread having to go back.

Working is an awful thing. You either dread being there or dread having to be there soon.

I agree. I wish I could go back to being a useless NEET again, but after spending my inheritance and several loans, I just have no other choice.
It's work or die, though the latter is sounding more and more tempting each day. If this is life, I don't want to live it.
