Well, most of the userbase actually didn't have an interest in Japan itself (not ''hate'') and mostly the closest they'd get was NND-viewing.

However, recently there has been an uprising of those who do value the Japanese country actually known as ''weeaboos'' who have started to plague /jp/ around the time the earthquake hit in March. I don't see that much of the /jp/ population as before but they're still there I guess. I hope.

I refuse to accept a persons standards for stands as quality when he is still sperging out over cat macros and memes. I mean, there is something wrong here. I have been on here since 04 (found date whoopity doo) and it seems to me that he has just grown to accept what most of the site has become today.

The point is nobody should care what he thinks about anything. He wasn't responsible for the site becoming as popular as it is today, he wasn't responsible for all of the shitty memes and he most certainly above has absolutely no impact on how the boards work.
