I personally wouldn't trade the apathy granted to me by wisdom for the childish idealism that characterised my behavior when I was young. Apathy is power.

I don't see what's wrong with living with your parents when you're older than 18, I know a lot people that are 18 years and older that still live with their parents.

Strangely, it's done a loop.

It used to be common to stay until 30, then it went lower and lower until it was uncommon to stay past 18, now it's actually normal again to stay until 25 or so (presumably because of the economy implosion meaning getting your own house is a massive undertaking).

Must be an american thing.
Where I live, it's common for people to live with their parents in their 20s. Especially in the current economy.

It's because in western popular culture rich kids always move out at 18 to go to college, get married, and buy a house with their new job.

There literally is no real reason to move out in most cases beyond trying to impress normalfags. Old people and internet are the two biggest complainers about it, the first having no real experience in a broken economy and the second being mainly trolls.

My grandma gave me shit about moving out when I had a $9/hr job. Sure it'd be possible, but it'd also be nice to actually afford food.

I wanted to spend another day as peacefully as ever, but then a storm had to be happening outside.
Damn, and I simply can't sleep anymore. If I try to force it, I'll either spend way too long in bed or end up with a headache. What a bother. Fuck you, weather.

It's not exactly "wrong", but even as someone who loves his parents I kind of had enough of them when I was 14. The thought of having this lifestyle while my parents are constantly hovering around me is making my skin crawl. With my own apartment I'm free to not give a fuck about anything, fapping to eroge all day everyday.

I don't like them as much, because lightning everywhere usually means it's dangerous to stay at my computer. I don't want anything frying, after all.
That, and I don't know, I feel kind of melancholic during stormy days.

I love light rain to death, though.

nothing worse than feeling like a hikikomori but being in college. all the fun of going to college, without any of the fun of being in college. might as well be in an apartment with expensive rent, expensive food (school convenience store sells a half-gallon of milk for $4,) and having to wake up and go to classes that allow 4 absences at 8am in the morning. its a good feeling knowing youre wasting money and gonna be back where you started soon enough.
