Also city transportation runs during nights. Just not that often and cargo isn't problem unless you are fat or live in 3rd world country with underdeveloped public transport.

I've always been envious of cities and countries with nice public transportation options. We have a bus system that seems to go anywhere and everywhere, but it doesn't run on Sunday and the bus is not very appealing. There is a light rail system opened up a few years ago but the nearest stop is so far away. It's a half hour drive to the closest stop and even then, it doesn't really go near any place that I'd like to go. I do intend to one day ride it though once I have some spare money. Until then, I have to drive myself in my car.

I live in quite a bus paradise with well heated vehicles, soft seating and fresh atmospheres. I sometimes board them at 4 in the morning and sit there until the sun rises, sharing this common lonely moment with the driver. You don't get the same feel with trains, unfortunately.
