The pants are a sign of nobility, and I largely see Mokou as gender neutral in behavior. She's very polite and helpful, hardly brash or gruff and tomboyish like Marissa. She holds on to a grudge and has a bad temper but isn't that very girlish in a way?

Please don't start the pants argument, pants guy. I know that in every thread, you remind us that pants were a sign of nobility in feudal Japan or something, YES, but I believe many Mokou threads end like this, you sparking an argument about pants and how Mokou needs to be drawn with pants and how many artists make her look like a slut by drawing her without pants.

Please just... just leave that open for interpretation.

Unfeminine personality, clearly; unfeminine proportions, uncertain.

>>7979631
On the one hand, you are correct that Mokou doesn't need to be drawn with pants all the time: they are a representation of her nobility, but it's not like it's the only thing she's able to wear. On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with how pants were brought up: someone claimed they were put in to show gender indifference, and the history of the pants was recalled to point out that gender has little to do with it. Feel free to criticize if it turns into "ALL PANTS ALL THE TIME," but don't preemptively call foul.

Was thinking more of how she's suggested to be kind of sinewy and stuff. Sort of like if she grew up and went through puberty, but it never quite brought her fully to either end.

Although as usual, with every woman (and occasional man) not specifically stated to be a loli, fanart tends to render her with massive mammaries.

>>7979601 This guy's right, except about the part about the bad temper. Well, she's not exactly always polite either, she can speak aggresively sometimes like how she talked down to Aya in the interview when Aya suggested she started the fire.

That's only you making up an assumption, it's not stated clearly. The way Mokou speaks about it is actually a commonly used writing method, whereas normally one would keep such things to oneself, in this case, the character deliberately tells of what the aspect in question is about in order for the reader to know.

If anything, BAiJR shows that Mokou and Kaguya do battle each other, and they try to cover it even. Inaba shows as well.

By the way, Yuyuko is a ghost. Ghosts are not like humans, they think strangely. And she forgot all of her events of her life, so of course she'd be happy either way.
Mokou on the other hand has it just the opposite, every bit of what happened matters. Mokou also had what could be considered a tragic life. What result do you see? Well, she's a forest guide. But she's still ultimately an exile and always has to cope with remembering the things that happened in her life that she's guilty of, as she said in CiaLR. She was nobility and is now immortal, but shows no desire to use her lineage or powers for personal gain. She's a self-made outcast, isolating herself - possibly in penance for past sins, possibly to avoid unnecessary casualties, possibly because she doesn't want to think of herself as "normal" - to spend time meditating in the forest. By that, I meant obsorbing every bit of official information on the topic. And after that, draw a conclusion from the given information that agrees with and compliments on the official stuff.

For example,
CIALR, Yukari says that shikigami are to her as computers are to the people in the outside world. She also says, that even though Ran can do mathematical calculations very quickly and efficiently, she can't really think on her own. By contrast, I bring the conclusion that Ran is a tool for Yukari just like computers are to us. Computers can't make decisions on their own.

The phrasing in the original text rings of excessive dramatization.

Were I to offer a more literal translation:
>なんて充実した毎日だろう。人里離れた山奥にあるこの地は、本当の蓬
莱の地に違いない。生きているってなんて素晴らしいんだろう。
>My, what fulfilling days, isn't it? This lonely valley land - in truth it is the land of paradise, I'm sure. To be alive; my, what a wonderful thing, isn't it?

Remilia's just cocky after they win. Even Sakuya told her to stop taunting her after they double-teamed her. "I've had enough, my lady...
Please don't taunt this human that can't die. "

That doesn't mean anything, she still _considers_ her weak, compared to others.

>> No.7981023

>>7980925

When does she say in comparison to others? In particular, what others? Remilia is too prideful to ever get an accurate estimation on another characters strength. Youmu even says the same thing as Sakuya, Mokou loses the fights in IN because they are 2v1

>because

So you're saying she'd have won if they were one-on-one? You know very well that wouldn't be the case because everyone has the same chance at beating one another in spellcard duels.

She calls her weak and is dissapointed that she does not live up to the ''impossible task'' that Kaguya mentioned. She doesn't call others like that albeit mocking them in other ways.

Point being, Mokou's not exactly a powerful EX boss, not like she would have any kind of mention towards it anyway.

>Mokou is not a powerful EX boss because remilia said so

>even though Sakuya and Youmu agree that Mokou lost because it was 2v1

I don't think so, Tim.
She may have lost, but she's still incredibly powerful.

Why are Mokou threads always so fucking gay?

If you dislike them so much why bump it to the front page 8 hours later?

>she's still incredibly powerful.

Says who? You?

We can't know anything about her or most Touhous' actual power due to the draft, we can only speculate.

Look at Yuka, she has the mere power to manipulate flowers yet she's one of the strongest.

Because I want all you people who post in these threads to see it so maybe we will get GOOD Mokou threads for a change.

Now fuck off, troll.

that's not how trolling works, sweetie
