I like Lonesome Road more than the other DLC, considering Dead Money nearly destroyed my save and Old World Blues was boring to me. Zion was meh.

It is.
Story's a mess unless you've read through Fallout Wiki.
No really good weapons.
Perks kinda suck.
New enemies are bullshit (2HKOs everywhere with Remnant Power Armor and 550 HP)
Main quest is just a linear footslog. Sidequests involve random caves with enemies in them.

My opinons:

Zion: Nice to meet Graham and get a Bible (sadly, I cannot read it) for my troubles. Helping the savages was boring, and Cazadores were a royal pain in the ass.
Dead Money: All my thoughts were focused on killing Elder Elijah. He was an asshole. Poor Veronica though.
Old World Blues: Spent most of my time laughing. Neat gear, and the suit was a plus. She is moe.
Lonesome road: Kinda boring.

It's because the enemies scale to you, but really poorly.

Same as you, I'm end game with Remnant power armour, triplas rifle or Tesla Cannon, 100 in energy weapons and all that sort of stuff and I had massive difficulty in Old World Blues as well.

I wanted to kill Elijah and Domino, but when I got in to the last area (The entire vault area) the turrets had already spawned, the computer wouldn't allow me to open the door, and the door didn't have a target. I pretty much had to use the console to complete the quest and unlock the exit gate after killing Elijah. So confusing.

Were you not paying attention? The only thing most wastelanders do is rape ,pillage, steal, kill and burn with said technology. Take a look at the fucking fiends, a bunch of them are packing laser heat while everybody else sports a 9mm pea shooter.

Most of the technology that remains are weapons, not ways to make clean water or food. And those that DO remain are in nearly inhospitable hellholes.

It is sad, but the Brotherhood must protect Humanity from itself.

Please. The Brotherhood are a relic of a bygone era, just like the Enclave. They're no better than the Fiends, only without the chems and with an ideology to justify their theft and murder. They can't even do their job and protect humanity. Take one look at the Fiends or the Van Graffs to see how well they go around "protecting" humanity from itself.

So steer them in the right direction then. Having them help the NCR patrol the Cazador and Deathclaw infested zones is what they wasteland needs. But not give the brutes them laser/plasma weapons.

They were not sabotaging power plants, but keeping Archimedes out of the savages' hands. The Brotherhood was forced into hiding themselves, and this is why the Fiends have weapons (probably being distributed by the Van Graffs themselves in order to help the Legion).
