/jp/! I have been reflecting upon what could help improve your life, and I think I have found another solution for you! I believe that you should pick up a religion. Many people who have gone through hard times and experiences have turned to religion for peace and solace. It does not even have to be a formal one. It would be soul-crushingly depressing to have to live a horrible existence as a shut-in without any sort of belief in the divine. You would go through multiple crises and eventually devolve into mindless hedonism and depression.

Therefore, I think you should start reading some spiritual texts, with notes by decent theologians, anonymous, since most Holy Books are not designed to be read unaccompanied or without context. Feel free to look into any religion, or maybe even create your own! It will at least give you some purpose in an otherwise uncaring and neutral universe.

Myouren was exactly that type of priest. He was a monk so auspicious that the Emperor himself, sick with some unknown ailment, asked him to descend from his mountain temple and heal him, but Myouren more or less told the messengers that the Emperor could go fuck himself and that he isn't leaving his mountain no matter what. It could also take the form of a little boy.

I wish I could turn a begging bowl into a little girl who would go out to buy supplies for me so that I'll never need to leave my basement. But then I suppose I'd be worried sick about her every time she leaves, what if she gets lost or kidnapped?
