Sick of you NEET faggots telling me how bad it gets after a few months. I haven't been outside in thirty weeks and I ain't even thinking about missing the horriblenesses of this world.
I hope I get to be a NEET for the rest of my life. Fuck you, /jp/. None of you are true NEETs.

Being NEET doesn't get boring after a few months. If anything, it gets better.

Being a NEET is awesome when you don't let your life fall into a cycle of monotony. Otherwise, it's pretty much the second most boring thing in the world.

I have never said this, in fact, I have called it to be the prime time, or at least a few months after that, up to a couple of years afterwards.

It usually starts to get really bad 5+ years afterwards, then it tends to become really, really bad. Some last longer, but a decade is usually the limit even for the most hardened of folks.
The people who truly manages to live like that, and stay happy, even after that, are a rare breed indeed.

A few months you said? Have fun.

>don't let your life fall into a cycle of monotony
I really find it cringe worthy when my days blend together to the point that I totally fail to recognize that a day/days have even passed at all.
Suddenly realizing, that more time have been wasted than I even realized that I have. Not that I usually spend all that time with so much worthy stuff, but for starters, it is really freaky when you can't remember that a day or two have actually passed. Feels as if you made a time skip.

I haven't been outside for almost two years now. Or more. Scared of bears.

This and not having enough money for food / luxuries are the only thing I've ever had a problem with, though the past few weeks I've been a bit frustrated with the things I usually pass my time with not entertaining me, some being more frustrating than anything.

I blame it on reading all my books, but they fall into the luxuries category - I die a little inside every time I'm placing orders for more.

Many people here have no social interaction if they're not in school/at work. A large portion of the userbase have rejected friendship for other activities.

So here you generally are Hikki by default if you are a NEET.

No matter what you do, it gets worse after 5+ years.

I've lived a NEET lifestyle since I dropped out when I was 16. I'm 21 now and I love my life because every day is something new. It might not be eventful every single day, but I believe I do experience something beautiful every single day. It's not bad at all. Infact, it's great.
