Nah, it's got nothing to do with what radius you cross the laser at. The laser doesn't have a hitbox until exactly the angle at which you were when the laser started lasing, so basically just move a hitbox's worth to the left when it starts from the left and the right when it starts from the right, and once again when the waves of bullets come at you. Takes about 6-8 taps on average to clear.

It's like one of those spellcards that becomes a joke when you figure out the safespot or the way to cheese the card rather than doing it the real way, except there is no real way.

There's too much fanwank Mokou. She's usually drawn too feminine or too much like a dude, too cute or too BLOOD AND GUTS berserkertype badass.

For once, it'd be nice if people had good taste in a good character and stick to the original concept where she actually looks really cool.

Because of a tramatic experience.
When Kaguya humaliated her family, she was probably somewhat tortured from the stress of her father, and up to the point where she wanted to kill Kaguya to end it. She couldn't, so that lead to more stress. She wanted to reconcile by stealing the 'gift' to the emperor, but had to climb up a mountain, she almost died trying -more stress. Then the real shock- the discovery of the elixir of immortality. Then she saw a slaughter, dead bodies everywhere - more trama. Then, she killed a man herself to get the immortality medicine - more trama. By the time she drank the elixir, her hair has already turned snow white from all the tramatic experiences. Drinking the elixir merely kept it that way.
