Who is the girl talking to Sakura at the end? Any guesses?

She is probably from Suika, but I didn't play that one to the end nor do I recognize her voice.

She is calling Sakura Ojou which is the name of that albino shinigami girl in Suika.
If that was all I had, I would have deduced that Sakura becomes Ojou after she loses her memories in Da Capo 2 since they are so similar in both looks and the way they dress, but the fact that someone who fits the description of Ojou from Suika is supposed to be the one who created the world of dreams before Da Capo 1 took place and thus lived a long time before Sakura makes me unsure about that.

It's not impossible that Sakura is only imitating the style of the witch who created the world of dreams (or Ojou). She was talking very highly of her and celebrates her smile once a year and all.

I guess this is supposed to be a good end for people who know about the other Circus games, but as I see it her fate is worse than death like this...

From an interview with Sakura's seiyuu:
>"So then, so then, who is this mystery girl that Sakura met? You all know right?"
lolno I don't. Tell me. ;_;
>"Uhh, and I really think it would be great to see you all again in Da Capo 3."
Is she implying that Sakura will be in the next game, too? I doubt they will let Hakuto Minami voice 2 characters from the same series.

I thought that she won't be immortal anymore now that she lost her memories since it's connected to her unrequited love for Jun'ichi.
I hope this means she regains her memories...even though all her friends should be dead by Da Capo 3.

Nothing to wut about here.
Being the only one to play the game to the end on /jp/ is suffering.

I didn't play Da Capo 2 at all because I dropped Da Capo pretty fast.
I still intend to... someday.

Ojou is just a generic way of referring to a young girl so I wouldn't read too much into that part.

I actually dropped it after the Sakura and Nemu routes, too. I was just bored of it at that time, but I will play the rest after the release date for DC3 has been announced.

They improved quite a bit with DC2 in almost every aspect. You should give it a try.
Reading at least Nemu's route is required though since it's the canon one.
You can read summaries for the rest if you really don't feel like playing them.

Speaking of which, how exactly are Circus and La'cryma related?

I'm playing fortissimo and there's alot of nod to da capo. For example the protagonists ability is named "Da Capo" and he summons Sakura. Also the imouto's gun are named after Circus' mascot.

Common illustrators and scenario writers, and even the same producer (tororo).
fortissimo was developed by Circus and La'cryma together, but the latter acts as publisher.

I see, thanks.
Does circus have official involvement? I don't see circus credited anywhere.

The company itself isn't though which I found weird.
