Nope. You need esoteric or faith-based weapons. Anything else, and they regenerate almost immediately.

That was actually explicitly stated in one of the extra books.

Didn't we have a thread like this some weeks ago?
IIRC conventional weapons didn't have any effect in youkai, yet weapons that had been passed through generations or were once used by a famous warrior, king, etc, had some kind of power in Gensokyo that could manage to harm youkai.
