Out of what you listed, Moriya's got it going on the most.

This is of course assuming that Hakurei Shrine is in fact authentic Hakurei Shrine, which is just Reimu sitting there by herself being glum and drinking bad tea, and doesn't count Suika/Aya/Yukari/Marisa and the others who hang out there sometimes.

Although come to think of it just hanging out with Reimu might not be so bad, unless she decided to spellcard your shit if you tried to make a move on her.

"Baal" means "Lord", as in "Lord God". YHWH itself was called like this until it ordered the jews to stop being heathens. The plural for it is "Baali", but the way.

Those two have origins on Sumerian deities, which were later re purposed by medieval mystics in their incantations. Baal Zebul, for example, later became Bel Zebub. It's the same guy, except that is now a demon rather than a god.

I know what they are, it's just that the false idols in Biblical light are right and proper demons and/or monsters, especially for Baal Peor who had a dick for a tongue and was worshipped by smearing shit on its idol. You might also include Moloch and Azazel into this category (and if I recall Azazel was definitely an entity instead of the symbol of the desert in the Bible, since he personally shows up and hangs around with some angel during his brief cameo.) Those take sacrifices but aren't real gods, which relegates them into the monster category, Lilith is more or less the same since she was in part derived from depictions of Ishtar as a bird creature and in part from that one class of Sumerian demons.

Also, Baal just means "master" and you can use it even for the master of a house or an establishment. I'm not sure if you can do that with Lord in English.

Ah, you are right in this. "Baal" could also be used to refer to a woman's husband or your owner if you were a slave, besides using it for gods. My bad.

As for the rest, the Azazel bit seems more like a recent addition. Probably churned out by Kabbalah, in my opinion.

Though I'll have to disagree about Azazel, he was probably thought as an entity far before the Bible since that goat ritual existed for quite a while. But he was most likely a formless "thing in the desert that eats sins" instead of a goat demon given dominion over land and as you mentioned could be thought closer to a spirit.

Associations with impurity, warfare and seduction, as you have said, were probably a much later invention.

Most gods actually don't have a shrine of their own anymore.

The 8 million gods are residing in some otherworldly place that Reimu can trance into and talk with each of them. It's a pretty resistant goddess since it can survive with only her shrine maiden and 4 other people knowing she at least exists. Either way it's very weak as of now.

I also don't see any reason for actual physical aggression between each other.
