Many times I have come close to feeding my dog poison.

I've killed several of our chickens through various means. Broke neck with a stick, broke one's leg and watched it suffer for over a week before it died, ran one over in reverse (that was unintentional).

I've beaten our dogs so they cower in fear whenever I'm around, since I don't like them jumping all over me and following me around.

I've tortured mice trapped in those sticky pads. Pour superglue on their eyes and mouth. Poke their eyes out with toothpicks. Rub a chili pepper over one's face.

I guess I'm not a fan of animals.

I can't even hurt insects. I only kill them if I really have to. Heck, I let a few spiders chill on my ceiling and I've grown quite fond of them (only other living things I've been around in a long time). As for animals - I could never hurt an animal unless it was for meat or self-defense. Killing for the sake of killing is pretty pointless.

Hey, what the spiders do is their own business. They're just trying to live, and I have nothing against killing if one needs to survive. I personally can't kill the flies, I usually just let them back outside. But if the spider gets them first, oh well.

I kill a lot of roaches due to living in a swampy location. I've begun to torture roaches with one of those extender lighters though. I know it's natural for kids to pick on bugs every now and then, I figure it's the same sort of thing?
