Is there a way to get rid of the "pre-spellcard" portraits showing up mid-fight and leave it just like Double Spoiler/Nue's TD Extra md-boss cards?

I think I meet my dose of ZUNart with the conversations and player select.

I understand that you don't like ZUN art like I didn't like it when I started playing.

But I doubt that there's a patch or method for that, because most players start playing touhou after meeting the Touhou culture and the characters being them the thing that drag the players into the games and not the games into the characters.

TL:DR: For Touhou games -> Characters = Character developement?¿ > History <=> music <=> Gameplay >graphics.
It all depends of the kind of person, but most people here stick to this.

Also if you still want to do it:
Go ask /g/ maybe some amateur programmer have tried something.
