Germany only declared war on the US because the US navy had been given the order to shoot all axis vessels on sight, and because Japan had dragged the USA into open warfare anyway.
War between the UK and the nazis only happened because the Brits declared war on Germany, and even turned down Hitler's peace offers after France was defeated.
