I actually liked that, OP - it's a nice way of punishing you for dying, and it still lets you try to kill some stuff, get a few points or whatever. Much better than DEAD HAHAHA ENJOY YOUR NOMETER. Do you want to only use trance mode when you want, to get those lives/bombs/dicks? Then stop dying.

I like how the post by the stupid tripfag actually makes sense if you change everything for the opposite of what he said. TD is a good game, a bit on the easy side of the scale, but still a good Touhou game.

I haven't cleared this on Lunatic but it's too easy even on Lunatic. The game rewards you for fucking up. It literally rewards you fo going into spirit mode and sitting on top of a boss for a spellcard and a half. Instead of actually rewarding you for, you know, SURVIVAL, it rewards you for being a little pussy ass bitch. Yeah, I know you don't know what the fuck to do against the second boss of Lunatic. I know you bomb the first pattern, dodge the second, and spirit mode well into the gigantic red ball pattern. Well you know what? Fuck you.

ZUN keeps messing with scoring mechanics which he almost got down in UFO. Truth is, he doesn't need elaborately difficult modes (SA Lunatic) or stupidly easy modes (TD Lunatic), he just needs balance.

It's good he got rid of that fucking bomb = power reduction shit though.

...I still want to 1cc it, just so I can say "I have 1cc'd all Touhou games on Lunatic" (minus that cirno shit because that's practically non-existent)
