Besides even if your art is bad if people like your characters they will make awesome fanart of it anyway regardless, in fact it might make people want to draw them even more. Later on you can get some professional person to work on your next title once you've made a name for yourself.

I've seen some okay'ish stuff in the renpy roulette threads. The problem with most of them is art. Character designs you fall in love with are hard to come by.

Personally, I still don't see why I should use this over ONScripter, or an engine of my own making custom tailored to what I want to do (If I were to want elements not of the typical VN deal, like say, gameplay.)

Personally I can also deal with KiriKiri, but the instructions for that thing is in Japanese and I don't know if someone translated.
As far as effects and the like goes, GothDeri was quite the beaut.
